Aonde?

Where? When? How much time?
I'm not going to Hawaii only to take a trip. I'll arrive April 8th and leave Brazil April 7th). In Kailua-Kona, I'm going to do a missionary training that uses photography as a tool to show injustice. There, I'll share a dorm, at University of the Nations campus, with some girls during 3 months.
After, I'll put on pratice what I learned and, who knows, get in trouble... This year, outreach focus is in the central/east Asia. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm really anxious. After almost 3 months, I'll be back to Hawaii with a huge baggage and a life completely changed.
I guess I'll be back September 27th...

Ele deixou. He allowed

A partir daí, comecei a mandar emails e me informar sobre toda a papelada.
É assim que eu ainda me sinto.

My dream had always been HAWAII. When the idea started to make solid and I grow up and started to travel alone, my dad said that I could only go if I went through YWAN (Youth with a Mission). My cousin, that had been at Kona during a month in the Staff, was stimulating me until the day I found PhotogenX DTS. I got really excited with the idea and asked my parents. It happened in 2008. The answer gave me hope, but after some time, they said: "No! You've just started college" .
I started my Tourism studies in 2009 but I was not sure if I still wanted this. So, in a beautiful day, I received Celina's bulletin. I got excited with missions again, then I prayed, then I accessed again Ywan-Hawaii's website, then I found, AGAIN, PhotogenX. In this time, I would be happy only to go and work there, but it was not what He wanted...
I had a serious conversation with Geise about the fear of having difficulties in another place. She said that this fear was lack of reliability on God.
So, I started to send emails, and get informed about all the things that could envolve my trip. I asked my mother, she get excited too and helped me. My dad was uneasy with the idea.
I got worried, because I was not sure if it was God's desire and Tih told me that when is His desire, we get happy happy, very happy. And I felt like that. I still feeling like that.
In "cell", I asked Guto to pray about that and he said that God put the dreams in my heart, or, MY DREAMS ARE HIS DREAMS!
Everything happened as the best way possible. I have sent all my forms and been accepted. Started to save money as I never done and I survived. Went to São Paulo to get the visa and in the interview, the counsoler only asked me what I was going to study and the relation about missions and phography. After getting the visa, I was pretty sure that it's HIS DESIRE! Cuz it was dreamlike in the consulate, it was dreamlike do not show any document from college, neither comprove that I could pay for the course.
He had already allowed and was showing his love in each detail of my trip.
So, that's here that enter He, my daddy, that I can touch ;) It was when I got the visa: HE ALLOWED!
I bought my ticket, and one more time, He showed that who takes care of this trip is Him!
It was when I gave everything in His hand that started to happen. Because I'm nothing without Him and without Him I wouldn't pass 3 months in the place that I dream to meet. Without Him, PhotogenX would not touch my heart.
It's His time...
(Wow, it must be full of mistakes, but sorry, I'm learning yet!)

It's impossible to hold the imagination when you are in way to HEAVEN. Sun, crystalline water, barrels, lefts , rights, are passing non-stop like the repeat button were flipped.
