Como o próprio nome já diz, é uma continuação do meu DTS (escola de treinamento e discipulado), só que ao redor do mundo. Vou traduzir o texto que tá no site (http://photogenx.net)...

Use a sua câmera para combater a injustiça ao redor do mundo

PhotogenX Around the World é para você se você gosta de viajar, se você tem o desejo de aprender sobre fotografia e a Bíblia e se você quer aprender como combater a injustiça ao redor do mundo.
Através desse curso você vai aprender fotografia e ter a oportunidade de fotografar ao redor do mundo nas Américas, África, Europa e Ásia. O lugar será tão diverso quanto o Hawaii, a Amazônia, o Saara e os Himalayas. Você terá que estudar a Bíblia em cima de um camelo ou em um bote no Oriente Médio.

O primeiro curso no Track é chamado de Fundamentos da Comunicação Fotográfica Parte 1. Esse curso vai elevar o conhecimento dos alunos do nível básico ao intermediário. Os alunos vão focar na fotografia, documentário, foto jornalismo, estudando diversos tópicos de design artístico, e aprender a usar um software de edição. Também será uma oportunidade de fazer diferentes viagens pelos campos da África do Sul.

Após deixar a África do Sul, os alunos vão começar o Curso de Fundamentos Bíblicos da Comunicação Fotográfica que ocorrerá no Oriente Médio e no Mediterrâneo. Os alunos terão um intenso período de estudo no Egito por um mês antes de embarcar em uma jornada ao Monte Sinai, um tour pela Terra Santa de Jerusalém, e vendo os lugares onde o Apóstolo Paulo viajou na Turquia e na Grécia. Chegando na Grécia, os alunos vão novamente parar para um intenso mês estudando as escrituras. O Curso Bíblico vai dar a cada aluno uma perspectiva básica da Bíblia, do Gênesis ao Apocalipse, com um profundo entendimento sobre passagens-chave e temas. O estudo ocorrerá nos lugares onde o alunos experimentará a cultura e a geografia da Bíblia. Além disso, cada estudante será capaz de fotografar pessoas e lugares da Bíblia.

Depois, o Curso do "Núcleo da Humanidade" vai capacitas os alunos a se engajar em uma cultura global. Os alunos vão receber ferramentas para caminhar em cada país do mundo e entender a história e a cultura de cada nação em particular (obs: uhm, então não era turismo que eu queria, e sim esse tal de núcleo da humanidade, hehe) e também terá conhecimento sobre o que Deus está fazendo na nação e como os alunos estarão capazes de servir lá. Este curso acontecerá na Europa e na Ásia.

Então os alunos vão se estabelecer na bela Kona, Hawaii para os Fundamentos na Comunicação Fotográfica Parte 2. Este curso dará ao aluno um maior entendimento em fotografia e design, e os alunos vão realizar um projeto que será publicado pelo PhotogenX.

Depois de enviar seu mais novo trabalho para imprissão, os alunos vão adquirir ferramentas para falar publicamente (ps. muito muito muito importante para mim!), web design e outras estratégias de comunicação no Curso "Núcleo da Comunicação" e eles estarão capacitados a distribuir sua publicação. Esse curso também acontece em Kona, Hawaii.

Finalmente, os alunos vão embarcar na última fase do Track, o Outreach do curso do núcleo de comunicação, geralmente conhecido como o tour de distribuição. Durante esses meses finais, os alunos, em times, vão levar sua publicação para lugares que eles escolherem em um tour de distribuição onde eles vão ter que planejar antes. Esse estágio final do track tem que equipar totalmente cada estudante para trazer a publicação de justiça com esforço desde a sua concepção até a sua distribuição.

Use your camera to fight injustice around the world

PhotogenX Around the World is for you if you like to travel, if you have a desire to learn about photography and the Bible and if you want to learn how to combat injustice around the world. Through this course you will learning photography and have opportunity to shoot around the world in the Americas, Africa, Europe and Asia. The place will be as diverse as Hawaii, the Amazon, Sahara and the Himalayans. You will get to study the Bible on the back of a camel or on a boat through the Middle East

The first course in the Track is called the Foundation of Photographic Communication Part 1. This course will elevate the student’s knowledge from a basic to an intermediate level. Students will focus on photography, documentary, photo journalism, studying different topics of art design, and learning how to use editing software. There will also be the opportunity to make different field trips through Southern Africa.
After leaving Southern Africa students will begin the Biblical Foundation of Photographic Communication Course which will take place the Middle East and the Mediterranean. Students will have an intense lecture and study period in Egypt for a month before embarking on a trek up Mt Sinai, a tour through the Holy Land to Jerusalem, and seeing first hand the locations of the Apostle Paul's missionary journeys in Turkey and Greece. Once arriving in Greece students will again settle in for another intense month long study of the scriptures. The Bible Course will give each student a basic overview of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation with in-depth understanding of key passages and themes. The study will take place on location as the student experiences the culture and geography of the Bible. In addition, each student will be able to capture the people and places of the Bible photographically.
Next, the Humanity Core Course will enable the students to engage with global world culture. Students will be given tools to be able to walk into every country on the planet and understand the history and the culture of that particular nation, as well as giving an understanding of what God is already doing in the nation and how they will be able to serve that. This course will take the student through Europe and Asia.
Then the students will begin to settle in to beautiful Kona, Hawaii for the Foundation of Photographic Communications Part 2. This course will give the student a tertiary understanding of photography and design, and the students will produce a school project that will be published by photogenX.
After sending their newly designed work off to print, the students will acquire tools for public speaking, web design and other communication strategies in the Communications Core Course which will enable them to distribute their publication. This course also happens in Kona, Hawaii.
Finally the Students will embark on the last phase of the Track, the Communication Core Course Outreach, commonly known as the distribution tour. During these final months the students, in teams, will take their finished product to locations of their choosing on a distribution tour which they themselves will have planned in advance. This final stage of the track have fully equipped each student to bring a justice publication endeavor from conception to an advocacy distribution.

O chamado - The Calling

Hoje fui na casa da Patrícia, da Maria Clara e da Maria Carolina e lá encontrei a Lilian. Ela falou que eu tenho um chamado muito forte para o trabalho missionário! Isso deixou o meu coração super feliz! Era pra ela ter dito isso há um ano atrás, mas ESSE foi o momento certo. Eu sei que se ela tivesse dito antes, eu teria ignorado e até achado impossível. Agora, tudo mudou.
Preciso aprender a amar.

Today I went to Patricia, Maria Clara and Maria Carolina's house and there I met Lilian. She said that I have a strong calling for missionary work. It made my heart very happy! She would say it one year ago, but TODAY was the right moment. I know that if she had told me before, I would ignore and thought it was impossible. Now, everything changed.
Need to learn to love.

Duas Semanas

Exceção e Rapidez na entrega

Mais uma vez, me sinto tão abençoada.
Precisava fazer um depósito 30 dias antes da minha chegada no Hawaii e fiquei sabendo disso tipo uma semana antes do prazo acabar. Minha mãe não queria que eu pagasse pelo cartão de crédito porque eles cobram taxas absurdas. No banco, eles precisavam de mil documentos, papel timbrado, assinado, com mil informações, traduzido por um oficial e tudo. Mas pra mim não precisou ser assim ;) foi aberta uma exceção e pude pagar por transferência bancária facilmente. Como não tinha o tal do código Swift, esse processo poderia demorar algum tempo, mas ontem já recebi a confirmação de que eles já receberam lá!

Exception and Quickness on delivery.

Again, I feel so blessed.
Needed to do a deposit 30 days before the Arrival Day in Hawaii and I discovered it in like one week before the time is over. My mother didn't want me to pay by credit card, because they charge absurd taxes to do it. In the bank, they asked me for thousand documents, headletter, signed, with a thousand informations, translated by an official and everything else. But for me it wasn't like that :) they opened and exception and I could pay by wire transfer easyly. I didn't have the Swift code, so, this process could delay some days, but yesterday I received the confirmation that it's all ok.

Um mês

Falta exatamente um mês pra eu pisar em terras havaianas.

Aaah, como parece pouco comparando à todo o tempo que eu esperei. Tanto tempo sonhando, querendo, imaginando. Tanto tempo apreciando e desejando. Será que minhas expectativas chegam perto do que é o Hawaii ou será que passam longe?

Ultimamente, tenho tentado desviar o meu foco de atenção, me preocupando em fazer outras coisas e tentando deixar de lado o fato de que em poucos dias eu vou estar no lugar que eu mais quero ir desde que eu me entendo por gente.

 

Tempo, dá pra passar um pouquinho mais depressa?

Deus, será q pode ficar pôr-do-sol durante todas as horas que eu estiver lá?

 

 

Exactly one month to arrive in Hawaii.

It seems a little if compared to all the time I've been waiting. So much time dreaming, wanting, wondering. So much time appreciating, wishing. Does my expectation are close to Hawaii or too far? Lately, I've tried to change my focus, doing other things and trying to "forgot" that in a few days I'll be in the place I wanna go since I'm a child.

 

Time, could you pass faster?

God, could sunset be in the sky during ALL the time I'm in Hawaii? Please?

Acho que essas fotos dispensam qualquer comentário sobre como o Hawaii tem sido meu sonho desde SEMPRE, né? Acho que os dois são de 2005. Fora os inúmeros bilhetes, desenhos...

(a primeira, é o que um professor escreveu em uma prova minha; a segunda, é um desejo que eu coloquei na árvore dos desejos... hahaha)

I think these pictures can show how Hawaii has been my dream since ALWAYS. I think they were both took in 2005. And I still have lots of papers, drawings...
