As crianças japonesas, além de incrivelmente fofinhas, são muito bem comportadas e legais! Fizemos várias brincadeiras, aulas de inglês, oficinas e muita, mas muita diversão. Apesar de ser um acampamento de inglês, as crianças não sabiam falar inglês, então acabamos tendo que praticar o nosso japonês, querendo ou não. E olha, não tem jeito melhor de aprender uma língua do que com crianças. Foi o máximo.
The Japanese children are extremely cute, but they are also very well behaved and nice! We had lots of games, English classes, workshops and a lot of fun. Even though it was an English camp, the kids didn't know how to speak English, so we had to practice our Japanese, whether we wanted or not. And seriously, there's no better way to learn a language than having to speak with children. It was awesome.

Eu fui MEGA hiper abençoada em ter no meu time a Non-chan, uma japinha super esperta que sabia falar inglês super bem. Ela virou minha amiguinha e me ajudou na comunicação com as outras crianças.
I was VERY blessed to have in my team Non-chan, the lil japanese girl who was super smart and knew how to speak English very well. She quickly became my friend and helped me in the communication with the other children.

O acampamento não era cristão, mas alguma coisa a ver com se entregar, servir, cuidar das crianças nos trouxe uma alegria, um novo ânimo em servir a Jesus no Japão. Voltamos pra casa quebrados (com muuuuuuuuuita dor no corpo, hahaha pense, ficar correndo atrás de criança não é fácil!), mas nas nuvens, felizes.
The camp was not Christian, but there's something about surrendering, serving, taking care of the children that brought us such a joy, a new strength to serve Jesus in Japan. We came back home broken (and veeeeeery sore, think, running after kids is not easy!!), but happy, light.

Agora estamos esperando ansiosamente até Novembro, pois vamos voluntariar para mais um acampamento de inglês, dessa vez na região de Sendai (onde aconteceu o terremoto de março de 2011).
