O banheiro no Japão | The Japanese bathroom

Mas é claro que o banheiro do Japão tinha que ser interessante, certo?

Ás vezes moderno, ás vezes tradicional... 

No shopping onde a gente trabalha, tem os dois tipos e eu confesso que me choco quando vejo as pessoas 'escolhendo' ir no tradicional! hahaha Ps. Vejam a foto do banheiro nas Filipinas.

At the mall where we work, they have both kinds and I usually get shocked when I see people 'choosing' the traditional one! ahahaha P.s Check out the Bathroom in the Philippines

Mas afinal de contas, vamos logo as imagens, não é mesmo?
But after all, let's go straight to the pictures!

Esse é o banheiro tradicional, ou o 'squat toilet', muuuito comum na Ásia e pesadelo dos ocidentais como eu. Vou te contar uma coisa: é muito difícil fazer xixi nesse troço aí... precisa ir devagar e ter muita força na perna... pelo menos vc vai malhando! haha
This is the traditional bathroom, or, the 'squat toilet', veeeery common in Asia and nightmare for many westerners like me. I will tell you something: it is very hard to pee in this thingy... you need to go slow and have strong legs... at least you work out! hahaha

Depois de ver essas instruções na Internet, descobri que eu tava fazendo errado! Mas graças ao bom Deus, aqui no Japão quase todos os lugares tem o tipo 'ocidental'.

After looking these instructions on the Internet, I found out that I was doing it wrong! But thanks to the good God, here in Japan, almost every place has the 'western' kind.

Mas vamos ao nosso tipo preferido de banheiro, o normal e tecnológico!

Em alguns lugares eles tem esse spray pra limpar o assento. A descarga varia de lugar pra lugar, mas esse onde eu tirei a foto era só colocar a mão ali na frente do sensor que dava a descarga. 

Now let's talk about our favorite kind of bathroom, the normal and technological!

In some places, they have these sprays to clean the seat. The flusher changes from place to place, but in this one on the picture, you just need to put your hand in front of the sensor.

Aí essa foto de cima é a parte mais legal! É o 'controle remoto' do banheiro! Tem opção de deixar o assento quentinho (bom no inverno!), de fazer o assento cantar enquanto vc estiver sentada (ou fazer barulho de cachoeira). Além disso, é aí que você controla o bidê, pra jogar água na 'frente' e 'atrás'.

The above picture shows the coolest part! It's the 'remote control' of the bathroom! There's an option to keep the seat warm (good for the winter), option to make the seat 'sing' when you are seated (or waterfall noise). Also, you can choose to spray water in the front or in the back (if you know what I mean hahaha)

Normalmente, nas casas, o vaso é assim, com uma pia em cima pra lavar as mãos! Isso sim é brilhante, juntar duas necessidades em um equipamento só e ainda economizar água!

Usually, in the houses, the toilet is like this, with a little sink to wash your hands! Now that's brilliant, 2 needs in only one equipment and you save water!

Bom, é só isso! 

Se você tiver se impressionado com o banheiro japonês, basta exclamar "Sugoi", já que eles falam isso sempre que alguma coisa os impressiona! hahaha (bom, e eles gostam de reações, então ouvimos sugoi sempre!)
