Como é bom ter relacionamento com o E. S.

Hoje eu tava pensando... como é bom ter um relacionamento com o Espírito Santo. É uma honra! Quanto sofrimento a gente pode evitar se simplesmente ouvirmos a voz dele e obedecermos.

Today I was thinking.. it's so good to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit. It's an honor! How much suffering can we avoid if we simply listen to his voice and obey.

Eu tenho um exemplo muito claro! Quando eu estava na casa da minha madrinha, fui assistir Heroes com o Jesse, mas o Espírito Santo falou claramente pra eu não assistir. Eu fui teimosa e assisti até ficar com muito medo. O Espírito Santo sabe qual é o nosso limite! Ele sabe até quando dá e ele só quer nos proteger. Depois de finalmente ter parado de assistir, é como se eu tivesse ficado com o espírito super sensível para todas as coisas do mundo espiritual, mesmo sabendo que o que está em mim é maior do que o que está no mundo. Mas sério, eu nem queria ir no banheiro sozinha!

I have a very clear example! When I was at my Godmother's house, I started watching Heroes with Jesse, but the Holy Spirit told me clearly not to watch it. I was stubborn and watched until I was very afraid. The Holy Spirit knows what is our limit. He know how far we can go and he just wants to protect us. After I finally stopped watching it, it's as if my spirit was super sensitive to the things in the spiritual world, even knowing that greater is the one who's in me than the one who's in the world. But seriously, I didn't even want to go to the bathroom by myself.

A pior parte foi saber que eu tinha ignorado o conselho do Espírito Santo e que se eu tivesse obedecido, as coisas teriam sido muito diferentes. Por isso eu digo: obrigada Espírito Santo por me guiar, por me ensinar, por ser uma ótima companhia para ver filmes, por estar comigo, por ser meu amigo.

The worst thing was knowing that I had ignored the advice of the Holy Spirit and that if I had obeyed, things would have been different. That's why I say: Thank you Holy Spirit for guiding me, for teaching me, for being an awesome companionship for movies, for being with me and for being my friend.
